You can check with the FL Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (HSMV) to check, but I am not aware of any way in which to remove points by attending a driver improvement class after the points and violation have already been put on your driving record.

 

When you receive certain types of traffic violations in Lauderhill, FL you may elect to attend driver improvement class or traffic school to keep points off your driving record. With this option you need to request traffic class of the court before your court date and have it approved by the court.

 

The HSMV states that the benefits for choosing the driving course option at the time of your citation are that points are not added to your driving record and the fine is reduced up to 18%.
